Jay W. Sigafoose practices in the areas of estate planning (including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney), probate of estates, real estate, income taxation, and business entity formation (LLCs and Corporations). He earned his law degree with high distinction from the University of Iowa College of Law in 1995. He joined the firm as an associate attorney that year and became a shareholder in the firm in 2000.
Jay graduated from Central College in Pella, Iowa, in 1992, where he majored in accounting. He is a member of the Johnson County Bar Association and the Iowa State Bar Association. He is also a member of Probate, Trust & Estate Planning Section, the Real Estate and Title Law Section, and the Taxation Section of the Iowa State Bar Association. Jay grew up in Hayesville, in southern Keokuk County, Iowa.
